By Austin Area Macaroni Kid October 21, 2016
Even if you aren’t hosting a Halloween party, you’ll have lots of trick-or-treaters visiting your house in search of candy. A pumpkin on the porch is perfect, but there’s lots of other cute ways to decorate the outside of your home for that spooky night.

1. The newest addition to Party At Your Door’s  Halloween decor is this super cute wooden Apothecary sign. It’s customizable to include your family’s name and is the perfect decoration for outside your home.

2. Say “Velcome” to your trick-or-treaters with an adorable DIY vampire mat. Just cut a door mat into the desired shape with a box cutter and use acrylic paint to add the fangs!

3. Light up your front steps and guide visitors to the candy bowl with “Trick or Treat” lanterns.

4. Don’t we all have Mason jars lying around the house? Why not turn them into cute votive candle holders?

5.  Again, grab those Mason jars that are cluttering your cabinets and turn them into mummified candle holders!

6.  Purple is the forgotten Halloween color and it turns an ordinary candle into a creepy melty mantle decoration!

7.  Turn silk flowers into boo-tiful blooms by gluing bloodshot plastic eyeballs into the centers.

8.  Hang our Hocus Pocus banner on your mantel all month to set the mood for Halloween night!

9. We have Halloween prints for purchase and download in our Etsy shop. This print is perfect for an entry way.
10. Decorate your bar or drink station with our fun “Time for Boos” sign.

11. Place a vase full of tiny pumpkins anywhere that needs a pop of Halloween color!

12. These sheer ghosts are great for an end table or dining table and are super fun to make.

13. Turn out the lights and turn on a bat lamp! Just cut out bats on black paper and tape to the inside of a lampshade.

14. Every guest will visit the powder room, so give them a scare by putting plastic bugs in the soap dispenser!

15.  Whether it’s bottled water for the kids, or something for the grown-ups, add these fun bottle labels for a ghoulish touch!

16. Confetti makes everything better! Add some to a gift or treat bag, or spread it around a table or desk.
